Hi!

Like so many other families we love holidaying in Salcombe, Devon and it has often struck me that Salcombe is the place where the Bennet family may also choose to holiday: beautiful beaches combined with beautiful shops and lots of mothers wondering round looking for Darcys for their beautiful daughters! It is also, of course, very importantly the birthplace of Jack Wills. So I decided to write a book about what would happen if the Bennet family were down for town regatta week - in essence, 'Pride and Prejudice' collides with Salcombe in the twenty first century.

So here it is. Romance and love blossom amongst the sparkling seas and golden sands. Chapter for chapter 'Prawn and Prejudice' reflects 'Pride and Prejudice' in its action - although yachts, beaches and the sea itself replace the drawing room. I hope you will find if fun and the perfect accessory if you are contemplating a blissful day relaxing on the beach!
